- Written, not verbal. Your warranty terms are printed on the invoice you sign, with the covered scope and the expiration date on it. Nothing about your coverage depends on remembering a conversation.
- Transferable when you sell. Remaining workmanship coverage transfers to the next owner at no cost. Call us with the closing date and we reissue the certificate in their name — a genuinely useful thing to hand a buyer's inspector.
- Parts carry the manufacturer's term. Panels, breakers, fixtures, EV chargers and generators are covered by their manufacturer, typically 1–10 years depending on the product. We register the equipment in your name at install and handle the claim if one is ever needed.
- No fine print on the callback. A warranty visit means no trip charge, no diagnostic fee and no minimum. If we caused it, fixing it is on us.
Outlets & Switches — questions we get asked
Can you just put a three-prong outlet on my old two-wire circuit?
Not by simply swapping the device — that gives you a grounded-looking outlet with no ground behind it, which is unsafe and a code violation. The correct options are running a ground, or installing GFCI protection and labeling the outlet properly. We will walk you through both.
Why does my GFCI keep tripping?
Either the device has failed, or it is doing its job and there is a genuine ground fault on the circuit — often a wet exterior receptacle or a failing appliance. We test to find out which before replacing anything.
How much does adding an outlet cost?
It depends almost entirely on access — an outlet on a basement wall is a fraction of the cost of one on a second-floor exterior wall. We quote per location after seeing it, and adding several at once is much cheaper per outlet than doing them one at a time.
