- Transferable when you sell. Remaining workmanship coverage transfers to the next owner at no cost. Call us with the closing date and we reissue the certificate in their name — a genuinely useful thing to hand a buyer's inspector.
- Parts carry the manufacturer's term. Panels, breakers, fixtures, EV chargers and generators are covered by their manufacturer, typically 1–10 years depending on the product. We register the equipment in your name at install and handle the claim if one is ever needed.
- No fine print on the callback. A warranty visit means no trip charge, no diagnostic fee and no minimum. If we caused it, fixing it is on us.
Surge Protection — questions we get asked
Do I really need one if I have power strips?
Power strips protect only what is plugged into them. Your furnace, water heater, well pump, range, dishwasher and HVAC equipment all contain electronics and none of them are on a power strip. A panel-mounted device is what covers those.
Where do surges actually come from?
Most are not lightning. The majority are internally generated by large motor loads inside the house cycling on and off, plus utility switching events. These are small, constant, and they degrade electronics over years rather than killing them in one flash.
Is it required by code?
Current code requires surge protection on new dwelling services and on service replacements. If we are upgrading your panel, the device goes in as part of the job.
